Keith Weir

Keith Weir, born in Banbridge, Co Down, N.Ireland. Keys/Piano player.

Keith grew up in a very musical family, on a farm, along with three younger brothers. Piano lessons started at six and eventually in his early teens played in numerous bands touring all over Ireland.

In ’93 London beckoned and after answering various music ads and meeting Paul Guerin he got into a real good scene, touring and doing session work all over the world.

Keith got the call to join The Quireboys in 2001 for the “This Is Rock n Roll” tour and has played on everything since.

In 2009 he was asked to join the Down N Outz with Def Leppard’s Joe Elliott. An album “My Re-Generation followed in July 2010.  Album no.2 is due out soon.
